Does anyone remember an incident where a fight broke out in the Sound of Music (I think the Fuck Ups were playing).. the fight continued outside and Erica got her face cut???

She and I spoke within the last 10 years. She was in the Sacto area, maybe Woodside, again. Or was it the East Bay? I can't remember. She wanted to know if I wanted to go in on making a book with our old punk rock flyers. I didn't do a great job of making sure I saw her at the time, but she was doing pretty ok near as I could tell. -

She stayed with me and spike and harald for a little while at Paul's mom's flat on Fillmore.
I remember an unforgettable night of blue pyramid where Spike dressed her up, did her makeup while we all talked about all kinds of stuff all night. Man you should have sen her face in the morning... holy crap! Only from the mind of Doreen.
Ericka was awesome! I hope she's ok. -

it was a trip they were trying to accuse us of being racist... and said I was selling MDA... I never even liked that stuff...
anyways.... she is often on my mind..
I remember there was another stabbing that happened at the Mab right after... something about a cigerette butt being tossed into a car??
I can't believe that we used to run around the neighborhoods we did .... being dumb, little, girls....Mimi, Kari & I would walk all the way from Broadway to the TL... then from there we would walk to the "tanks" which later was re-named the Vats... but you've already gone over that topic!! -

Sat, February 18, 2006 - 6:51 PMThere is an article on my page-- in photos-- that is about the stabbing out front the Mab. Maude my best friend at the time was stabbed along with several others. They got the guys and a bunch of us went to identify them from a line-up (don't ever rely on hair length and other superficial things to identify someone by). We also went to their court appearance. Anyway, I think the two guys were already on probation for something and they ended up getting off on the stabbing. My memory is not all that clear though. -

Mon, February 20, 2006 - 2:56 PMI met Denz (then Dennis) in the late 70's... he was part of a group of "older" guys. He and Dave Vacant were kinda tight. They had another friend who had this fluffy blonde spiked hair... years before even DOA did their hair like that. They were SO COOL.
I followed them around for days and days and days... I swear Denz never lived anywhere, or if he did, it was such a good secret that he could just outlast anyone who wanted to crash at his house (like me.)
Even then he had junk in the corners of his mouth, but he hadn't developed the spit blood thing yet.
Denz became a kind of a mirror for me. It was strange to see him change. Got his teeth knocked out, and looked so strange dating 15 year olds, and was never the same after he made the transition from "sid" style punk to the sleeveless t-shirt 80's punk.
But I'm one to talk... fuck, i was disgusting. -
