    hey Rob!
    I know where Cheryl is..
Cheryl is married to a chiropractor and is a personal/bussines coach in San Rafael..
I see her every so often... She is pretty weird about "her past"........ but happy and doing well.

I just sold a house for Aaron...

He was recently arrested ..... at the moment he is in re-hab
Junk is even uglier when you are old like us..

Aaron is EXTREMELY good at fooling people into "thinking" he is well....
the dope is finally catching up with him...(he looks like SHIT)
he was arrested, lost his job.... the whole deal.... within the last six weeks....
I don't even know if he has gone to court yet...
but he called a couple people to say he was going into a 30 program.. just last week.

JoEllen told me about this tribe and that you were looking for me. I'm going by my middle name now, but it's me...Cheryl.

I don't know anyone's real name! So are you Rob Noxious or Rob Shatter? You'll need to remind me.

Are you the same Cheryl who was from Novato and friends with Juneko? I'd love to find her too!

        That's me!

OMG I miss Juneko like you wouldn't believe. We had a messy time in '93-'95 with a friend that was dying, I was re-venturing into the dark-side along with everyone I knew, and I had to leave all my friends and get it together. Later, I had hoped we'd be friends again, but she doesn't want to reconnect. Too much, too young. Sad, but I still love her.

Please remind me who you are. I'm trying to see who I know here, and am laughing at the nick name issue. What did you go by back then?

OMG, I just looked at your photos. Sheesh, Renee. I'm surprised to meet you again!

You look great! I like you with long hair.

I'm dumbstruck. The internet is amazing.

I would love to see Damien again, too bad he's not on your "found" list. Man did we have some times . . .

Which Sean did you find? Sean Condon? (Hells Kitchen) Because I'd like to talk to him again. I'd wondered if he survived.

Some curiosity about Peter Montgomery? We were never super close, but I was always fond of him. And I have some awesome photos of him.

What about Patti Tuori (of Bill & Patti). Anyone have a connection to her? Last I heard she was going to grad school at NYU for photography.

How about Brad Anthony? (from 13) I've heard he was up in Seattle. Still true? I think it's about time Brad & I mended fences . . . let's see, only about 20+ years since we broke up . . .

Sean Condon is alive. Last we connected he was trying to pull his life together. I hadn't really seen him since I was like 15, so there were a lot of years between us. But he was reaching, and I was glad to see it.

Peter Montgomery is alive and well and living in Berkeley. He's married to a beautiful woman, and they have a beautiful daughter. He's still abstract, smart, and odd, but completely wonderful. He also looks exactly the same.

Damien,I dunnoe. We were super tight for a while. I started to chip, and he did too. I got mad at him to getting into smack, and we went our separate ways. I saw him around here and there, always seemed to be doing ok. Whereas I wasn't doing ok at all. So I never even said "hey" or anything.

Brad. I heard from Tresca (Animal Things) and she's been hanging with him. He's alive, but I wasn't curious at the time about what the story was.

I spoke to Steve Hunt on the telephone after Turner Babcock died. He got me in touch with Claude (Turner's mom) and I was grateful for that. He sounded like he was doing great. Married to Katie, and very happy. He wanted to get together, but at the time I wasn't ready for anything like that. Facing the past crap one person at a time is easier than having a bbq with everyone at once, right?

Patti, I have no idea. Though there are some photos on the Flicker site which look like some from Patti's collection, I haven't asked and figured the time would come naturally.

My guess is that Toni and Rachel would be really helpful in this thread of people seeking. They seem to have thrived and come out of that scene completely intact. Though I haven't seen them on this tribe for a little while.

I'm really glad to hear Sean's alive. Of all the people from my past, he's one that I hadn't heard anything about that I thought might not have made it. And I still see Josh Levine around quite a bit but somehow never ask cuz, well, I guess my subconscious never remembers to because I didn't want to know if it was bad news.

It doesn't surprise me a bit that Peter looks exactly the same. When folks look through my old pix (I really should scan some & post them--I have great shit of him, Orlando, Anna, Steve, etc.) they always stop at him and go "Wow, who's **that** guy?"

I actually think a BBQ would be hilarious. Talk about your wreckage of the past! All us old, chubby, greying weirdoes saying, "Do you remember that time at the Tool & Die when blah blah blah?" If I organized it once it got sunny, who would come? No, I'm serious, show of hands . . .

Peter Montgomery was a stone cold fox.

I'm looking for black Darin - skinhead, kinda ratty, black black, short, had kinda American Indian features. He was good friends with my boyfriend for several years but disappeared one day...

If you mean Marc Time from the Jars/Rather Ripped/Music Faucet/Universal, he's living in Eugene and does a radio show.

                      Damn...

I remember that day. The Dickies were the nicest band we ever had in that store. Eveyone else, the Damned, Motley Crue, Siouxsie, were mean and ungrateful. But the Dickies were really funny, and very nice.

That's Sean's blog hunh? I heard about that from Peter Monrgomery actually, he was blown away by it. Sean was a good kid, never got into any the bullshit we did, though he was a bit younger, I'm sure he found his way into BS of his own...

Thanks for the lead. That guy saved my life (twice) and I never got to thank him for it.

                      Thank you.

I'm looking for Sydne. We dated for quite awhile in the 80's. I moved on...wound up in GA, got clean and sober, and through my journey, I need to clear up my past with this person. Anyone remember her or know of her whereabouts? Her real name is Nancy(get it...Sid/Nancy). AD, maybe you can help me here...

I'd also like to find a chick named Connie. She was originally from NJ, had a punk show on KVMR radio in Nevada City circa 81-83 or so and then lived in Hayward in the mid or late 80s.

Hi Rob, Shawn here. I'm so glad to see you doing well. I think the last time I saw you in 1987 at Cafe Roma. I was there with my girlfriend, Sarah Serata, and you were *very* into a certain classic American writer from Princeton, NJ.

In any case, I correspond frequently with Marc and help him with the podcast of his radio show. The mp3s are ahammer.com/marctime and the feed is at feeds.feedburner.com/TheSund...angover. I also chat less frequently with Nervo and Armin. I sent Mike Montalto a feel-out message recently but have yet to hear from him.

I'm sure Marc would be happy to hear from you. He's at marctime(at)netzero(dot)com. His blog is sundaymorninghangover.blogspot.com.

Hey, you forgot the nicest ones of all: Gang Of Four! They had never done an in-store before, drank several six-packs with us and basically asked permission to leave after they'd hung out for like two hours. The Plasmatics were OK, but I remember Bow Wow Wow as being particularly rude. It didn't help that Anabella and I were the same age and she was just so.. much more... than I was.

Another good one was The Stranglers at Tower Records. Jet Black left in a huff, but I remember JJ Burnel staying for some time and flirting with Alyssa(?). (Or was it the English chick from the clothing store next door that Ron had such a thing for?) One of the great disappointments of My So-Called Post-Punk Life (as I now think of it) was the cancellation of the all ages Saturday afternoon Stranglers show that was to take place at The Stone. Since my entire SCPPL took place on the sly from my parents, a Saturday afternoon show had a special appeal. Oh well.

                        Cheers,
                        S.

Shawn - I had no idea that you worked at Universal. And I thought I knew you so well...

I love the photo of the Dickies with you in a Yale t-shirt... that's classic.

Ms. DangerAngel, you should know by now that I was a lot further off the mainstream than it appeared at first glance!

Even better is the photo of me with Wendy O, sadly lost. I brought home an autographed 7" and my mother was shocked, SHOCKED i tell you! That was a moment to savor.

I never thought you were anything but smart, normal-looking, and deeply, deeply strange.

sadly, most of us go by appearance, but i've learned in my life that the people who seem to look the wildest are usually quite tame inside, the toughest looking guys are little boys who need a hug, and the most ordinary and mundane end up the wildest weidos you ever wanted to meet.

not always true, but nothing is...

Oh I knew you were cool Shawn... just not "I worked for Kim Ham" cool.

I worked for Kim Ham at Tower.... so did Rachel Rudnick... he gave us coke on inventory days... he ran that place like it was a nightclub, not a video store.
